About the Band: Currently residing in Arizona, Jeordie, is a singer-songwriter, born and raised on music. She is an award-winning musician with intensely hypnotic stage presence. Jeordie can pack a stadium or spread her message at a festival in the valley, in a small intimate venue or on the sands of a beach; Her powerful voice flows as effortlessly as an island sunset.

Submerged into the Southwest music scene, a transplant from the East coast, Jeordie has years of audience pleasing experience.

Jeordie learned how to own the stage and communicate her message from her mother; Musical artist Melanie (Melanie Safka) known for “Brand New Key”, ”Lay Down”, Ruby Tuesday”, and “Beautiful People”. Jeordie, is a true performer beginning at 4 years old on a local television variety show. Music is in her genes, and her lyrics tell the story of her life experiences, expressed through a unique voice, which tells the story of the artist and woman she has become and proving she has so much more to give.

Singing along side her family, Jeordie’s goal has always been to share her original music with audiences everywhere. Currently based out of Arizona, she is active in the local music community, pleasing audiences of all ages: She is a true entertainer.

The Cockswain Trio

About the Band: Formed in 2011 Cockswain made their St. Patrick’s Day debut in 2012 and have been working on developing their own style that can only be described as high energy celtic rock with gypsy rhythms and punk rock attitude. The word “Cockswain” means “one who steers the ship”. To the band, lead singer Neil Ward put it like this: “It is more about being in charge of ones own destiny. Rebels. Stay true to themselves.”

Cockswain is known in the Phoenix, Arizona Irish pub scene performing 3-hour sets on a regular basis at places like Tim Finnegan’s Irish Pub and Fibber Magees Irish Restaurant & Pub. Recently the band has expanded to play in Flagstaff, Arizona and Tucson, Arizona. In November 2016, Cockswain made their festival debut playing three 1-hour sets at the Tucson Celtic Festival.

Originally from the Phoenix punk rock music scene, Arizona native Neil Ward formed Cockswain to combine his love for punk rock and traditional Irish music. Joining him is bassist Clint Davis, Amanda Lubking on fiddle, Wake Lubking on banjo, Jack Hoole on drums, and Evan Fourness on lead guitar.

Many influences can be heard in Cockswain’s high energy hard driving music including The Pogues, The Clash, The Who, Gogol Bordello, The Dubliners to name just a few. Their debut album titled “Seamus” was released in April 2015. Produced and recorded by Mike Bolenbach at his Full Well Recording Studio, the album is packed with original songs about booze, lost loves, ghosts, and devils, “Seamus” was described by the Phoenix New Times as music “With a punk delivery, an Irish heart, and a modern vision to make this kind of music contemporary, Cockswain truly succeeds at what it does, and it sounds great.” Cockswain’s follow up to “Seamus” and second full length album “For the Whiskey” was released March 6th 2017.

The Spirited Lads

About the Band: The Spirited Lads play the tunes that you can’t resist singing along with; before you know it you are clapping your hands and stomping your feet to the infectious music. With stirring vocal harmonies complemented with acoustic instruments, the Lads liven up the room immediately.

Drawing from the legacy of great Irish folk songs and ballads, The Spirited Lads play the right balance of the sad songs, the sweet songs, the roaring songs, the whiskey songs, the sailing songs. They carry on the tradition of groups like The Clancy Brothers, The Dubliners; and balladeers like Christy Moore and Paul Brady. The Lads delight both those that recall those artists and songs, and the new generation who are new to the history and legacy of the great Irish Music tradition.

Carol Pacey & The Honey Shakers

Never a dull moment in the lives of this uniquely tuned group, Carol Pacey & the Honey Shakers and their Upbeat Brand of All-Original Rock & Roll can be found all over the Phoenix metro area, from coffee shops to weekend music concert venues. Lead singer/songwriter, Carol Pacey describes their success in Arizona, “Our music is what music used to be like here in Tempe, when the Refreshments and the Dead Hot Workshop owned this town, albeit with a female up front doing the singing!” And Carol really peels the paint off the walls with her strong and passionate presence in the group.
